Do they still let you reserve ? I know in cabo they would take towels off the chairs if no one was around ? We don't use them anyway. Stand in the water at all times. One shady spot for wife , one sunny spot for me Put our junk in a small pile in the corner somewhere.
they tried that for a while but it didn't stick. Usually if there 12 in your group get 6 chairs and share,, but yeah my beef is the people that put stuff on chairs at 7 am then show up at 3 pm, take there shoes off and put them under the chair then go up to the swim up bar. See it all the time Years ago in the blue bay days they had towel boxes.
We alway went around 7. We had a group of 10, and wanted to get 4-5 chairs together. Take a t shirt to put over the back of your chair, because if you just use the pool towel, it might get moved of taken.
Never bothered to reserve a chair. We are early risers and if we wanted a chair then there was usually one or two about not reserved at 8am. Days we got up later, we just found Cancuncare people and asked if we could put our stuff next to their chair, then spent rest of time in the pool. This was in January during Miss Temptation week, when at least 10 chairs near the activities bit were permanently reserved for contestants and their guests. I do find it annoying when people reserve the best seats, don't show up until late in the day, then don't even use them. I'd love it if there was a 1 hour rule...you don't use your chair for over an hour, you waiver the 'reserved' right on it.
we were there last Nov 1-10th...........we noticed lots of peeps bringing a larger tshirt and putting over back of pool chairs to reserve.................we already have a couple crappy tshirts to take with us on our 2nd trip this Oct 30-Nov 8!! Me and my hubbs took turns each morning getting our chairs..............like others have said if we didnt have them (2) by 10 am we were screwed!!!!:headbanger:
Who actually sits in the chairs around the sexy pool? All the party people are actually in the pool during the day. Chairs are over rated.
