As I'm reading (McKellar77) plight, I couldn't help but feel my East Coast blood pumping with anger. And then comes Jamie with a calming voice and excellent advice. Something like my Dad would say to me.
Mike, with the April Addicts I just send my "Dad" ( Woody ) to chat with them ...They will leave !!! LOL Just playing Woody ha ha
I had this same thing happen to me when a group of four over took our two chairs plus another couples (with all our stuff on them) while we werent gone that far, not even in the pool. I had not realize they had the chairs the day before which means it has to be theirs the rest of the week they are there.... I kinda just sat back in my chair with them all around and ended up sharing nicely with the others the rest of the day... I was too stubborn to walk away, but not ready to ruin my own time.... But wait, I was wondering, a chinos game? When was this, is he back? I leave on friday, will he be there and I didn't hear anything (been a bit busy getting ready to leave work)
I really didn't mind at first. I thought she would sit for a few minutes and then leave. The week that we were there, it was pretty cold. We spent most of the time in our chairs and NOT in the pool.
Sorry more of a general thing I find lots of people plop their stuff in a chair and spend the rest of the day in the pool. It can be frustrating sometimes to be at poolside at 2pm and every chair has something on it but only 10% have people in them. I always just put my stuff to the side and get in the pool anyways
K, how much I was I in the pool? Like almost never.... That time I spent the day sitting in between the people who stole our chairs.... But, I agree, it's really annoying to try to look for a chair at 9am, not be able to find one, only to have most of them sit empty just about all day long. Well, for those of us who use our chairs.
Dont blame it on the english. There are rotten apples in every tree!! Anyway, we invented the sunbeds!!! :uk1:
