I've been doing a whole foods / paleo type diet for a month and lost 19lbs. I have also joined the gym and am working out at least 3-4 times a week doing cardio, want to shift another 14lbs or so then start the protein shakes and up the work outs etc. Tanning will begin start of March ready for our May 29th Trip!
Everyone is different on how they want to present themselves while on vacation. Me and my wife choose to look as good as we can for each other, pics, and our own self confidence to wear certain things without feeling insecure because of our body. That said, we are not ken and Barbie lol, but we are presentable. 1 month out, workouts increased, I'm not where is like to be but further along than if I had waited till Jan. Question, does TTR have a small gym onsite? Couple of bench exercises, curls pull-ups, dips and squats before hitting the sexy pool gets the blood flowing in the veins and swole up the body..
Ken & Barbie? we're more like Opus & Lola Granola, happy and secure. Actually, I call her Lola Granola sometimes, she's sort of her own free spirit, wears flip-flops when everyone else is in heels, everyone knows her an hour after we get there, that sort of thing. We'll get our cardio in via alternative methods, I'm sure!
TTR has a pretty good gym - as far as resort gyms go. Good place to sweat out a hangover and definitely good enough to maintain a workout routine.
