Actually I dont think public sex is allowed in any country. But if you are in a PRÍVATE facilty whatever you do in there stops being “public”
Certain groups or crowds can get away with alot more. Others not so much. Rules are being more enforced this last trip. (Last week of April) Security was on high alert, due to circumstances. Last 3 trips people have been tossed out of resort. First trip, opening day and week....Bash hot tub open all night. We christened it the first night about midnite. Helll Marilyn was naked in hot tub first or second night and walked back to room down the room, across pool deck to Quiet side room, with her dress in her hands when we left. Nothing was said. Poolside games were more risque at opening and at Halloween. NYE was conservative....but Week 8 was great and crowd was awesome. Lots of hi-jinks and sexy fun, specially at Bash. Last week of April not so much. Music was terrible overall. But Week 8 was very good for tunes Halloweeen music was superb, as was the opening. But the old party vibe is missing, prolly never to return, unless a large repeater group (laden with veterans) is present. Newr groups or iconic groups with lots of newbies, have a challenge to get the cool sexy party atmosphere flowing. The gerneral demographic of TTR is fast changing and is not nearly as fun unless of course a big veteran group is there. But even then it seems manufactured. The pool is a deterrent to having the parties of old and so is Bash. Much prefer old Sexy Pool and PatyOs. Security is doing a good job but are between a rock and hard place. Mangement wants toned down raunchiness and some guests are testing the rules. When people get combative with security at 7pm hot tub closing time and antagonize, it can get pretty ugly and precipate security to have a short fuse all night. We still luv Mecca....but not soo much when it is a bunch of newbies and small clusters of groups trying to set the tone. And the music has to change. But having said that, I still remember the music of PatyOs of 10 years ago. Where 5 out of 7 nights it was piped in elevator music and most people went out to Hotel Zone. And Nice Shoes was located in what is now the Mexican Resto. And the show was lame followed by a DJ with only 40 or 50 songs. (All of the same songs were played daily at the pool) you would hear 30 songs 3 or 4 times a day. And that was it. So I complained back then, and it is alot better music-wise today But music is such a key ingredient and it still has a long way to go to set a cool party vibe.
Regardless of people's views, it's kind of amazing how you can have a variety of people who have completely different views on how much the resort has changed, the atmosphere, the experience, etc. Not saying one group or another is the correct one, but rather that it's hard to square both experiences against each other without accepting that everyones personal vantage point of the resort and its atmosphere can be a bit different.
We went in Feb and is was just as much of a wild ass circus as always in the sexy pool.. Be back in 7 days!
