Also remember that just because you are a woman doesn't mean you can't go for tier heavy weights.. If you can lift it, do it!

Sent from my speak and spell.

So true! I have been lifting for about 4 months now and I have really increased my weights. I never imagined how much weight training could change your body. WOW! Pushing it to the max. I think I need more weight and less cardio.

Crossfit is big in the Paleo style of eating. Last year we changed our eating habit to be 5 meals a day, smaller and so called clean. Protein and complex carbs meals. I never thought that it was going to work. I (Steve) went from 238 to 210 or so. 2 inches off my waist that never went back. It takes a lot of work to stay with it but it sure works. This was all we changed. Judy dropped some weight but more of her body shape and dress sizes. I used to do ironman races and never got under 220 before that. Good luck.

A lot of truth that abs are made in the kitchen not the gym.

We use this too and it works great. You can keep up with all your calories and add friends and give each other a little push is someone is slipping.

Probably already been said, but here you go!

For diet, lean proteins (chicken, turkey, fish), lots of fruits & veggies. As little grains as necessary, and only whole grains when you need them.

For the workouts, add cut back on the cardio (stay in the "fat burn" heart rate range, 65% max heart rate), no more than 30 mins/day. Up the weigh training. Just because you lift weights that doesn't mean you'll bulk up.

I like to tell my clients "focus on the journey, not the destination". Have several other goals beside fat loss such as a 200 lb squat, a 125 lb press, a sub 1:45 500 m row, run a 5k, and have fun while doing it.

With all do respect, I agree with almost all of the comments left here as weight loss and fitness tips (like my fat ass is an authority on that sort of thing) it seems to me that as fantastic as you look in your most recent pic, you looked great in your first pic. (I am a great judge of hotties.) Do what you're comfortable with and you'll be fine.

Besides if you're not careful you'll put your body into shock with all the food, booze and late nights.

My advise is carbs lots O carbs the kind that come in a bottle, exercise the liver! :daveandmo:

    my two bits

If you are sick and tired of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry protein shakes, try "fuzzy Navel" by Syntrax Nectar. 25 grams per scoop. 0 carbs, sugar and fat. Lactose and gluten free and totally yummy. It is peach flavored. I have had problems finding it because it is so popular. It is by far.... the best I have tasted to date. (I know I am no fitness buff, but I have nutritional needs that are a rather specific)
