Standing here at the front desk and have been for over an hour. The problem is, although I have a confirmation and email with a check in date of 10-27, and out on 11-2, in their system they have us down as checking in tomorrow, the 28th, and leaving on Nov 3rd. Wonderful! And of course, they can see the email, and their computer, (and the two don't match) but nobody behind the front desk has the idea to simply shift the dates 1 day. They really need some experienced front desk people with the ability and authority to make an obvious change. After all, we've presented a valid email that shows dates and paid in full, and this is at least our 12th trip.
Man seems like whoever you bought the trip from messed up the booking. Hope that you get it sorted out and start your vacation..
We ended up having to buy another night. But it is such an obvious decision all of us would make on our jobs, I can't understand why a simple date shift to solve a problem on a date that is not sold out is so hard to make the decision on. All problems would be fixed instantly, and everybody wins!
Happy that you finally got in and off to the party by now. Hopefully they can figure it out on the back end to help you.
An hour is not much longer than it would have taken if all was sorted out. Did you get out of getting harassed by the time share people?
Where did you book through? One time Expedia had us arrive on one date but checking in to the hotel the day after WTH. I did not double check the confirmation and it was all there showing the mess up.
Check-in at Temptation seems to be a weak spot for them, nd it is so straightforward to handle. I don't get it.
