more people for the party I've got 2 friends on the line to join in for Sept. 17 thru 24. If I can get them on here I'll introduce you guys, but then I'll need you to allay their fears and help them understand how life changing TTR can be.
I'm not sweating the details but I guess I just question why bother to have special nights listed if they can all be 5 different things??..... I mean I've seen white hot night listed, I've seen glow night listed never assumed they were the same and would not have dressed like a god/goddess for either one......I hadn't ever seen the gods and goddesses listed and thought when it was suggested a great idea....this is only our second trip so the assumption wasn't made and I know most new people wouldn't know that either.... I would hate to have people dress as 5 different ways when it's really a very small percent that do it in the first place....that's all.... I'm not trying to start anything either but how can this be an official list when I know Many of ours friends from our first trip going the last week and they hadn't finalized that week yet they've been talking and weren't decided... some were talking and said not until at least July!... Just curious... When are you and your hubby going to be there Kristin??....if they are the same as ours I look forward to meeting you! (never mind I saw....we will miss you...maybe next time!) D
I hear where you're coming from. To us, we feel like everyone should be able to make the theme their own. We shouldn't be contained to one single idea, but rather let that idea spawn new creations. Because White Night has been one of the constant nights for several years, most people decided to make it a free for all night, because we all got bored with the same shit. That is one of the reasons that we believe ABC night has taken off in recent years. Everyone wears something completely different, it is very refreshing to see everyone's creative minds come out. Theme nights are left up to your own interpretation, the last thing we want to do at Temptation is be a bunch of sheep, following the herd. Be the person who when they walk through the breakfast line in the morning, everyone points and says, "Yeah, that's that guy who wore that!" In short, make the theme your own, take it in any direction you see fit, but most of all, have fun with it!
