Dear Diary - 9 Days of Top and Pant Wearing It's kinda cool how waves of people go quite in the roll call threads when it's their month to be in TTR. At first, 2 months or so before the trip it gets busy / chatty with planning, then countdowns and then ... a week or so of nothing then on the other side (usually a few days after landing back at home) the chatter picks up for one last time to say "wow what a trip, what awesome meeting you" followed by a few inside jokes the the rest of us can only guess at what might have gone on while they were away. It's kinda like those space moves where NASA looses communications with the astronauts as they orbit the moon. Our planning is back on and in top gear as we prepare for our trip in just over a week's time Some of our focus has had to change but mostly we're staying the course for all the theme nights we had previously planned on going out for. Andy sounds like a wicked job. I'm not a football guy but my son did play one year as a 12 year old and we had a chance to practice on the old Ticats field in Hamilton, then watch them practice and finally for a CFL game. Working for the Alouettes, "gentille alouette" must be pretty great though, too bad you have to put up with those red and white hockey team though. Lina is a Huge blue and white fan and will not be shy to tell you what she thinks of those other clubs. Have a great day everyone, and for those orbiting the moon, we'll see you on the other side.
Ha Ha I am not really a football guy either. I laugh some times with the staff and a few players, I like to say is it because you guys are scared, they say what do you mean, I reply In Rugby we only wear a moth guard, all that padding. They don't like that so much, I am more of a Rugby guy, when I see a player run out of bounds on purpose to avoid being hit, i think in Rugby they would get a punch in the face for doing that. It is an awesome atmosphere though, I really enjoy the time I spend there
Well this time tomorrow we will be landing in Cancun. Can't wait to get there. In the mean time got alot to do today. Can't wait to meet all that will be there why we are.
Andy, I gotta agree with Darin; we're really gonna miss you and especially Tina on the Boobs Cruise. But I know you'll have a great time in September! I guess our loss is their gain. Have fun!
