UGGG SunWing did screw us out of a day last time as well. This time I used my military discount to book early and the price dropped so not a huge loss but SunWing is not my favorite carrier anymore. P.S for you Americans near a border with exchange you would get a steal of a deal leaving out of Toronto!
It has not let me down 8 times running, rain could not ruin this trip (knock on wood, ladies LOL). We have a pretty good base of people going at the same time. It's the people that make it what it is. If at any point its not what it should be we will just crank things up a notch!
By day three of our last trip, we were having a hard time imagining that we had three responsibilities back at home. Talk about totally checked out the way we are supposed to be. Couldn't wait to ditch them, but on the plane ride home we could wait to see them again. Really looking forward to ditching them again in 16 short days.
The link that Andy provided is pretty spot-on, and the author is correct - the people you meet at TTR you make the vacation fun and entertaining. Nobody cares what you look like or what you wear. I am not a Chippendale's model, but I will wear a leather harness to Nice Shoes on Wednesday evening...and no one seems to mind (and I haven't seen anyone throw up or go blind from looking at me!). Pack some sheer, skimpy things you would never wear in public at home...and you fit right in at TTR. I bet you will get compliments on the outfit, too! Have a great vacation!
Yep.Sunwing. Not much there can do right now as customer service is closed on the weekend. So we wait for the time being. Losing a day and the associated costs. Just hope they do something. I did call the resort and notified them. With any luck we may get moved to an ocean room to make up for the night.
AMEN to that. We really feel if we don't make us a priority and put our relationship first once in a while we cannot be 100 % for the kids
