What a crazy 4 weeks it has been. I worked for a large bank for 19 years. About 3 years ago I moved to another large bank. They started having layoffs. My boss's boss chose me out of his group to be laid off. There were different categories and I fell in a talent reassignment group where they wanted me at the company but I had 90 days to get a job. I started making contacts and got an offer yesterday. I had booked the trip and was going anyway but it is a relieve that I don't have to look for a job now. She will not be happy that I have to travel to Ohio quite a bit.
