Wow! We haven't been so excited about a trip in a long time. We haven't been back to Mexico in 6 years and we can't wait to get the party started. Almost completly packed. Hurry time get here!

Hey there Curtis & Barb,

So what did you think about all the new changes as we were there in June and the place looked really nice. Staff was awesome as always. So were you able to say goodbye to Chino, Omar, etc.? How's the entertainment staff?

With Johnny Walker Red being served now, John's liver wasn't doing too good after the 3rd day.....LOL

Glad to hear you had a great time, looks like we will be ok with the Hurricane and all.

The rooms are really improved.

The new staff is picking things up pretty well. Charlie is getting his feet wet and interacting pretty good. The 2 new girls from Lithuania, Happy and Joy,(can't pronounce their real names so they gave them nicknames) have picked things up pretty quick. Mario, (i think thats his name) does most of the microphone work but he does not seem as personable as chino and omar and seems to want to finish quickly so he can leave. You really dont see him unless there is some announcing to do. Still fun but leaning a little toward the pg-13 side of things instead of the NC-17/R we all enjoyed in the past. The night time activities are really toned down. They are taking surveys left and right. It seems they are willing to cut out some of the more fun adult like activities if someone complains. The surveys it seems carry alot of weight with someone in management. Within a couple of years it could become "Family Friendly".

11 days and counting for us. We hope the new staff changes have smoothed out the bumps by the time we arrive. The PG-13 approach will really be a bummer if it stays that way. We go to TTR because we like the atmosphere just like it always was. It almost seems unfair to try and change that on people who have booked expecting "R" rated entertainment. Honestly, That is one of the unique selling points for the resort for us. Without it TTR is going to be competing with many other resorts that have more to offer in other areas. We will be going with an open mind and always try and make the best of any situation.
