Dennis kind of had a $hitty beginning of the trip. His connection was cancelled so he was stuck in Ft Lauderdale on Friday night. Then they lost his luggage. But he has been out with us the last two nights.

So kind of a crazy night last night. Jason got some of us into the VIP area at DaddyO. There were kind of more guys than girl, as expected so I decided to go find some girls to bring in. I found this really NY cute chick but she had 5 other friends who also want to come. I'm not sure exactly how the Student City VIP thing works. The night before at the City, his Student City friend was not very happy with him for bring too many people in and crowded the area. I didn't want him to get in trouble again so I didn't bother him to try to get the girls in (he was too busy with some girl already anyway). So I handled it myself the NYC way and slipped guy maning the VIP entrance some cash and got those 6 girls in. Of course the VIP section suddenly became a lot more fun now I tipped the male-female ratio over. Unfortunately, there is such a thing as too many girls and not enough wingmen because when you have a group of girls, sometimes the less selfish ones of the group always feels bad and obligated to check on the ones in the group who are left alone for too long. I totally understand. I am the same way with my guy friends because I want everyone to have fun and don't want anyone to be left out. The problem is that when you are trying to dance/talk to someone, those distractions make it really hard to build rapport. That's why you need wingmen to distract the distraction. I even tried to introduce some of the CC guys to the two girls left alone but everytime I started talking/dancing to the girl I liked for a few minutes, her two friends are left alone again (3 guys I don't know in the VIP section was unknowning playing wingmen for me and completely distracted 3 of the girls). Not to mention, Joe kept on asking me to go dance with this chick he met the previous night to get ride of the dude who was dancing with her. First of all, I was a little busy trying to hit on the cute chick I liked. Secondly, I'm not an aggressive guy so I don't really enjoy being put in the position of cockblocking. Thirdly, since when did I become the mac daddy who can steal girls from any guy?? :lol: But Joe seemed so sad earlier when his girl was getting a little busy with this another dude so I ended up helping him out. But after I got her back, I sort of have to ditch her (which made me feel a little bad) to go back to the cute girl I was hitting on before she starts to get put off by me spending too much time with other girls. Anyway, I started strong. We had a good chat and we talked about going partying when we get back to NYC because she likes techno too, etc. But with all the distraction, I could never reach critical mass of rapport with her and she sort of just lost interest after an hour of not really getting anywhere. It was too bad because she was really cute and had this really sexy little body (if my drunken memory serves me correctly). Uggh...I'm still pissed at myself. LOL. Oh well, maybe I'll give it another shot if I bump into her at Oasis today. Me and the NY girls.

Ft Lauderdale airport yes, I was stuck there yesterday myself - the "Golden Girls" airport I am now calling it. Rose and Blanche are probably still there. drink up for us poor souls please
