Cancun is safe .......I feel safer walking in Cancun in the hotel zone with no protection then I feel back at home while carrying a gun with me .....I mean hey I live in New Bedford,Ma aka "The Secret city" or Heroin Capital that's ranked the 55th worst place to live in the USA but besides the point ......like someone said previously some one might ask if you want to "party" and if you say no then it's no also don't get completely drunk to the point where you dunno where you are and keep alert of your surroundings like you would at home and you are good.......The only reason the USA government says don't go to Mexico is cause they want you to keep your money in the USA and any one that says don't go to Mexico probably has never been to Mexico ......go and enjoy yourself!!!!
BTW..... I been to Cancun SB 2002 , SB 2003 , SB 2006 , SB 2010 , October 2010 , SB 2011 , October 2011 , and I will be back march 20th ......never a issue
