I have to agree with you there. Talking a TTR virgin into playing the games is almost as much fun as playing them myself or at least it was in the past. Especially when it was something like crazy darts.
All of that was still going on two weeks ago when we were there - Crazy Darts, NTVB, body shots... not to mention lingerie night, 4pm shows in the pool and the ocean, balcony shows, skinny dipping at night in both the pool and the ocean, etc., etc... Oh, and no one that I saw got harassed by security while we were there... at least, not anyone who didn't deserve it. Honestly, everyone is talking like the sky is falling, but I can't think of one thing that was "less" sexy or crazy or whatever than when we were there a year an a half ago. When I read all of your complaints I wonder: Are they talking about the same resort I was just at? 'Cuz what you describe and what I experienced are completely different. All of the things y'all think are now gone, AREN'T. So what are you all freaking out about? Just sayin'...
Should have been there in the middle of April bud and you'd know what we were all "Freakin" about. Glad it might finally be turning back into the old TTR that we all know! Thanks for the update! :headbanger:
So security clamped down for a week or two because of a few unique problems and loosened up again pretty quick after that? Doesn't sound like an epidemic to me.
Clamp down was still going on the week before you got there. As a 12 time repeater, I have seen problems like this in the past and it never seems to come back completely the way it was. Let's hope I am wrong and it reverts back to the old days. Some of the old contest make what you saw childs play. When we first started going nudity was about the only way to when some (most) of the games.
Wow, a few bad apples kinda spoiled some fun. Jamie, did they really tone down the games, no naked tequila volleyball, anything goes (my fav)? We have talked about a trip back but Desire keeps calling our name. Yes, '04 and '05 rocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "If you are going to dance naked, don't do it in front of the windows." If your there during the crack down it may not be an'' Epidemic'' but it sure puts a freaking damper on your trip. I don't want to play Russian roulette when I go on a trip
I'm sorry y'all had that experience in mid-April. That would suck. Good news is that since at least mid-May, everything seems to be back to normal, at least according to the standards of the past couple of years. I can't personally speak to anything before that, so I don't know how much crazier it might have gotten once-upon-a-time.
