Security...for guest safety or to censor guest fun?

We were there at the end of April and yes securty was up more than the trips before. We had taken some whip cream and thought well this will be used in the room, but one day at the sexy pool a group had a can also and were having fun with it by the hot tub so I went to the room and got mine and had no issue with securty as he stood by the steps and enjoyed the show. I guess its who is on watch that day.

 

We're here now and I am just checking the board to see what theme night it is tonight when I saw this thread. Security is a joke! Someone earlier referred to it as a high school chaperone. THAT's exactly how it is! Come on, we're all adult here. The guy that looks like "the Rock" (more like resembles) is a DICK. Guests better start complaining or this place will become a breezes resort.

 

Thats sad news. I think they're trying to tame down the resort

 

I think I'm going to email the resort to ask why I'm hearing about all of these issues and express concern about if Temptations is still going to be a fun place.

 

Good luck! They'll just deny like they denied when a whole bunch of us got really sick in april

 

I don't have high expectations for a response but my main purpose is to let them know that what goes on there is noticed by people outside the hotel.

It's like the comment cards. If we don't speak up we can't blame them for not knowing.

I wasn't rude I just asked if the security crackdown was temporary and that it would be a shame if it were because Temptations is unique and that is what draws my friends and I there.

I am pretty sure there are a few people from the resort that read these threads, If you guys that are on facebook and friends with Mario remember, after the " Getting sick at temptations" thread was getting a ton of hits, Mario posted that letter on facebook and it was in responce to an "Unofficial" site about getting sick at the resort, So Im sure they read this , at least the staff... and I know the staff doesnt want this, they used to be able to have fun, Less people that go to the resort, means less staff needed...

 

?? Just got back and there wasn’t an issue.

We just got back and I have to say I didn’t see any issues with security at all. There was one instance that a security guard came by the sexy pool when a few of the gals there were getting a little friendly with each other which no one had an issue with. The guard didn’t do anything and walked away. (To tell you the truth I think he just wanted to watch too and I don’t blame him!)
The only other time I saw security taking any action was to police up beach vendors that were hassling guests a little too hard and there was a tie some other people (not from Temptation) were trying to come in.
Security was there (but didn’t do anything) when a few of the guy guests (small group from Jersey) started dancing at the pool and bumping into people because they felt they needed a huge area to dance in for themselves. It was handled all by the guests and over pretty quick.

 

Let me know what they say. My saving grace is....I can still cancel.
