Security...for guest safety or to censor guest fun?

it might have been less that epic week, but they were still there almost everyday at the end of the day.

Isn't this how discipline usually works? Violator go's way over the line in front of others so in return the discipline is dealt out at a much higher rate......this give's the shock value to the violator and others so they won't challenge that line again. I suspect it will gradually ease back to normal.......... HOPEFULLY !!!

I believe I read that something got out of hand at the sexy pool and when security was needed there wasn't one to be seen. I agree that most adults can look after themselves but there are times when they can't or they do something stupid. If TTR got the reputation of having no security, what kind of resort do you think it would become?! Everyone is entitled to their opinions...don't get me wrong..I do agree that in some cases they were too strict but it didn't at all ruin my fun

 

the April Addicts have said that as well .. no calling ourselves a group. and just doing the normal stuff on cancuncare I think thats were we might have made our mistake... naming us as a group.. .. we will continue on cancuncare as normal but as individuals .. I think that maybe they were tipped off about the April Addicts and got scared after the 45 guys and thought, here comes another large group and cracked down for us and the Epic group.. I am just guessing though.. I was there a week after the main group left and security had calmed down ..

 

The 45 guys definitly messed it up for everyone else. What the hell where the hotel thinking accepting such a large group of men especially English footy fans because they are dickheads. Our group was all couples except for 1 single guy yet we were watched more than Bin Laden pmsl

 

I think one of the things that needs to happen here is that we encourage everyone possible to provide feed back showing that we want to see some things return that have been removed.

Not in a confrontational way though. In a simple constructive way.

We've seen the minority complain and how management reacted. We can do the same thing. Filling out the comment cards is super important because if we don't then those minority complaints are all that management sees.

Making comments to managers when you see them about the staff that you love or the events that you really enjoyed can go a long way.

 

Hmm maybe we should have someone from here write a form letter reguarding all of the changes and security issues and asking what the new rules are and what their definition of PDA mean exactly then all of us email to them from our individual home emails address.. we may all get the same form letter back but at least they will see how unhappy we are..

 

That may work but what I'm suggesting is more around when we're actually there. I've already emailed Temptations and there response was the generic reply that talked about no sex in public and following the rules. Which 99% of us do.

I'm just suggesting that we make sure that when we do complain we do it in a polite, constructive fashion. Getting angry will only put them on the defensive.
