Security Deposit

I’ve heard that we now need to leave a 300$ security deposit upon check in and that a lot of people’s credit card numbers are being hacked. Any proof to any of this? If it’s true is there a way to check in without using a credit card?

 

We are arriving on Sunday and we're wondering the same.

Don't all US credit cards by Visa, MasterCard, and Discover have $0 fraud liability? Make sure you have a backup credit card and dispute the transactions with the CC company.

 

Where did you see people complaining about having their cards hacked through Temptation?

From what I’ve heard it’s happening a lot.

I saw it on a FB forum for Temptation. Apparently it’s been happening often. They are not sure if it’s the resort or if their cards are being scanned at the airport or somewhere along the way. The only link so far was Temptation asking for a security deposit.

 

Ok that explains why we haven’t seen it, we don’t really look at FB. Hopefully they can get that figured out. We went through that stuff a couple years ago and it’s a pain in the ass to get everything fixed and get new cards.

 

I’m going to tell them I don’t have a credit card when I check in. I don’t need this shit to deal with once I get home.
