I just can't get over how stupid some people can be.. I don't care if anyone does drugs that's their business, but come on people your in another country and from what i hear a Mexican jail is not even a little bit of fun. And if your busted for drugs in Mexico, I don't think anyone is going to come running to help you out. I get that people feel safe at TTR it's a wild crazy party... but leave the dope at home and don't get it in Cancun... that's just asking for trouble.
Being from Texas, have known or heard of LOTS of people that have gone to Mexico and think they can do anything down there, that everything is OK. It is not and as you said, once you are in that system, you are screwed. It would be a very long and un-enjoyable Mexican vacation. The government there wants to "prove" they are tough on drugs, a tourist is a perfect vehicle to demonstrate their toughness on. Leave your dope at home. There is plenty to keep you entertained and happy at TTR.
