Seaweed Dilemma

So I have been hearing that the entire Caribbean region has this dilemma right now with seaweed being washed up on it shores, beaches of Quintana Roo Cancun being hit the hardest which looks ugly and smells fishy and that clean up has been going on for sometime. Is this still an issue? If so how bad is it?

oh boy heard it was bad and there is always some on the beaches when we have gone before but this looks a lot than I have seen before. Hopefully with the upcoming busy vacation season they get a handle on it

Fortunately, Temptation is all about the Sexy Pool!

 

TTR is around the corner so to speak , so is not affected as bad.

 

There is no seaweed in the Sexy Pool.

 

Just spent a week at the iberostar grand and the seaweed issue was so bad that you couldnt even walk on the beach without it smelling like a fish market. there were guys on tractors constantly going up and down the beach but no matter what they dis they couldnt get a handle on all the seaweed washing up on shore

 

Does anyone have any idea how long this will go on? We are looking bro plan a trip for next year in February.
