Does anyone know the best local place for a dive trip? We would like to get in an afternoon of diving at least once during our vacation but we don't want to travel too far from the hotel and bar
The best diving I have heard about is about an hour south of Cancun, My husband dives but I dont, See Borris at the resort he can tell you, the hut next to the sexy pool and he teaches diving leasons. Terry
You also may find him sitting next to the sports pool in the mornings...He'll have several chairs and tanks sitting next to him...Have fun..
Boris was good and he takes trips, but the best dives i have had were with an outfit in Paamul. its just south of Cancun www.scuba-mex.com they are great. american owned shop and you get a one-on-one dive intructor. very safe and a better reef than the one by TTR. But i had a great time with Borris. its only $65 to dive at scuba mex and they will give you a free ride back to the resort. worth the trip....tell Gil I said hi.
