Hey just having a wee look around and few boys from rugby are up for going to cancun next year was told good time to go is between 4th 18th march Wondered if anyone could give us some info on some selected hotels or rooms we could stay in? Doing a package from a travel agents is costing £1500 for 14 nights must be a way to bring this down a wee bit hehe!! Only flights are from manchester (UK) which is fine Cheers for the help Ally

Theres LOTS of great hotels in cancun, the site i ued was a bit of a rip off so i wouldn't recommend it Theres lots of travel sites serving cancun so just look around Hotel wise theres too many to choose from all depends on how much u wanna spend I guess, just take a look on a few of those sites and see whats on offer at a good price and you can ask about specific hotels back on here too theres a Hotels section of the forum you might find useful too http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9
to be honest there are so many hotels and ive not got a clue where to start lagoon beach or the city making me dizzy.just like to be in the actions so to say hehe what would be ur top five i can then work about that give me a rough idea what area am looking in cheers
No lagoon, no downtown. Remember, downtown is not the hotel zone. the Hotel Zone is about 20km long and starts at downtown (km 0) the northern part of the hotel zone is from km 0-km 9. The water is calmer, the beaches are decent toward the party zone. the Party Zone is at km 9. Everything from km 9 - km 17 is where the spring breakers generally book. The beaches range from great to almost non-existent on this side. The water is generally rougher with a substantial undertow. The water is looks amazing though. If nothing else, get a deal, get to Cancun. Everything else will take care of itself.
Just had a quick look and came across oasis and grand oasis not much diff in price to be honest which one u reccomend?? Wee like to party so its gotta include drink woman and a whole lot of fun!
If you are talking aboutthe Oasis Cancun, then you have chosen the party hotel for sure! The Gran Oasis, same chain but slightly better accomadations. When you stay at the Gran during Spring break you can still go to the Oasis Cancun and party.
Got a choice of 3 dates staying in Grand Oasis there all the same price no bad £1150 10 days 8th march - 18th 15th march - 25th 22nd march -1st April What ones u recommend??
