I may fly to Florida. I may drive to Kings Island, Ohio and ride rollercoasters that weekend. I may drive up to Cape Cod or Newport. Maybe Myrtle Beach or the Outer Banks. So many places, so many deals.
Hi Fletch- I am really sorry to hear about your loss. I know exactly what you are going through. Our little beagle Max passed away on the 24th of July and it still is hard some days. I love your idea of the tattoo. I think a paw print with her name would be great. I agree with Greta...dogs know. Our dog had stopped eating and drinking and going to the potty for 5 days. 3 of those 5 days he was at the vet. Finally he started feeling better and the vet said he was ready to come home. I got him in the car, drove home as he laid there basically motionless, walked him inside put him on his bed and about an hour later he did the same thing Fletch's dog did...he got up and moved to a spot in front of the coffee table where we really couldn't see him. I had walked over to see if he would eat a fry since he wouldn't eat any dog food and he was stroking (we believe) at the time so I called my husband over and we were both there with him when he passed. It truly was one of the saddest things I have ever seen in my life. To make it worse Mya was at home and she kept telling me to wipe my tears and come eat dinner and kept asking me why mommy was so sad. Fletch...again, I am so sorry for your loss and I hope it is getting a little easier for you each day! Bridget
I've heard beagles make great curries. Ian    PS. Sorry, Just trying to lighten the thread up .
I call bullshit on that one Sir. They don't even have thumbs to be able to hold a spoon to stir the curry.
Fletch- Just noticed this post. So sorry about your dog! We lost our belvoved Mastiff Hank on July 12. He had cancer as well. It is heartbreaking! I hope you and your family are recovering from your loss. Take care, Karen
