If you borrow someones chair be courteous about it. Fold up their towel & personal belongings and set it off to the side. We don't mind if you need a place to sit to talk the guests next to us - that's fair game, but when your completely laid out soaking up the sun on my towel, that's just rude. While CCC members are quite a bit friendlier than the general population, not all resort guests of TTR are friendly and some will be downright rude, so............. proceed with caution when you take someone else's reserved space. We are gone often so don't just assume we are sleeping a hangover off til 3pm. Why we are gone? Get up early or find somewhere else to sit & stash your gear. Compared to other resorts, there is plenty of space and lots of chairs. Just not everything is in the prime sexy pool viewing area.
I like B the best, since it seems like the group going in April seems very friendly..what a great way to meet new friends!!!!
I am sure no matter what this is going to get alot of responses...especially since I commented not once, but twice..lol :bash:
Very well said, my maple crown royal pal don't why ppl can't understand that we are actively doin stuff, but also using our chairs. Unless the chair is completely empty, it is in use.
I don't like it but people feel as if they have to do it thus, makes me do it. personally I put a towel out every day around 8-9 and was fine, so I think its an exaggeration to say you have to be out there by 6am. what irritates me though is I saw towels put down before I was out there and saw them still not moved by noon at that point I lost track
This. I have to admit that I was mildly concerned about finding a place to stash our stuff before we got to the resort, but once we got there I found that all my concerns were unfounded. There are plenty of chairs on the beach and it's a short walk to and from the pool. Not once did we have to beg someone for a chair or a place to stash our stuff. Also, when I'm on vacation, I go to bed late and wake early. On our trip in July, I would get up at 6 and go down to the beach to watch the sun come up while enjoying coffee and Jimmy Buffett on the iPod. And I noticed something when I was walking down there every morning: If I wanted, I could have my pick of chairs. And I still took the beach chairs.
