Wouldn't the world be a better place if we all had manners? If I had my way, I'd make it a mandatory rule that anyone can sit on any chair, if there's nobody sitting in it at the time. Want to sleep in? Not a problem, sit on any chair without a body on it when you wake up. Going in the pool? Too bad, your chair may be gone when you get out. Going for lunch? Your chair will most likely be gone when you get back. I know this is completely unlikely to ever happen, but wouldn't it be nice? The funny thing is that if this put in place, there'd be plenty of chairs for everyone, since 50% of them are typically empty at any given point in the day with people sleeping in, sitting in the pool or out at lunch.
The funny thing (or not so funny depending on how you look at it) about this debate/discussion is EVERY day of EVERY trip we have been to TTR there has been open, empty chairs somewhere for relaxing, taking in the sun, reading, sleeping or whatever. Chairs on the beach or by the quiet pool or entire beds around the sports pool. There are plenty of options no matter what time. What isn't available are the prime location chairs. The chairs around the sexy pool, in the middle of the action. It is a supply vs demand thing. For those who have never been think of it like going to a movie. If you are one of those people that want dead, center middle seats for the hot movie then you better get there early. If you don't then you may have to sit in the less desired front row seats. The people that get there early get the most desired seats, just like at the sexy pool. If you don't get there early there are other options. Either way you can still enjoy the movie. Just like no matter where you are sitting at TTR you can still enjoy the amazing party of the sexy pool (get up and walk over when you hear the laughing) and the beauty that is TTR!
As it has been said before this is an argument that happens all the time...but just read the entire thread and have to say thank you!!! I had some great chuckles!!!:aktion054: Great way to start my day. We are like most everyone else...We sit for a bit in the morning, we are willing to share and if I don't get my seat where I want so be it!!! I personally like to get up early....it usually proves entertaining to see the folks who haven't gone to bed yet, the folks who passed out that morning on a lounger or time to visit with other early risers. Plus the resort is really relaxing and quiet at 6 am. Anyway....can't wait to be there "worried about getting a chair" instead of here reading about it and freezing my butt off!! 4 weeks 5 days
For someone who hasn't been to TTR your posts... well the posts on this thread appears to me that you have an issue with people who get intoxicated.. have you really checked this place out... you do realize that TTR is like a frat party for adults. You don't know what people are doing that have reserved a chair... they could be at one of those god forsaken time share meetings, they could be talking to friends... Please don't assume that because someone got up at 6am or whatever time to reserve a lounger that they are sleeping off a hangover the size of Detroit.. Learn the game...:beer4: Anyways there is no such thing as "hangover" at TTR...
LOL we've done that.. partied on the beach and then thought hey let watch the sun come up... pass out and wake up with lounger imprint on our faces...LOL Good times can't wait to get back and do it again...
I spend a lot of time on this forum and dont always respond, but every few months this topic tends to come up. For us, this vacation is about the people, the party the fun. Yes puke happens, (I will hold your hair) I want to meet people, I want to have adult fun, I want to have fun erotic games, be able to touch with permission, to drink in the pool, to suntan NAKED! Its all about freedom for us. If we get chairs, or a bed, we are more than happy to share with people, its how we get to know NEW people, and it just increases the sexy adult party fun! Cant exactly play topless Janga alone right! Beer pong sucks when your playing both sides. My point being here, is if you get a char, share it! Anyone can sit in our space any time, and we would be more than happy to chat and hang out. Is that not the whole point? If I wanted personal space, and to sit around reading all day, I would have gone to a normal resort! But this is just my opinion, please take it with a salted rim. Sharing is Caring!
