Back in the day, those names I mentioned always made you sit up and take notice. They were the best we have ever seen. The Masters. The elite. The "TTR entertainer Hall of Famers" (Sara69 and JJ have reached that level as well. And when they move on will be afforded the same legendary status.) You never knew what they would do or say next, and sure didn't want to miss it. When Chinos, Omar and Lalo went to play volleyball, half the pool went to the beach just to watch and hear the banter. With a lot of help from the early CCCers! The regulars with 30-40-50 trips, starting 10-15 yrs ago, dating back to core BBG days, are the real building blocks of Mecca. They are the ones that established the tone and incredible atmosphere
Damn that's a lot of trips in that period of time. I will basically be 4 trips in a 2.5 year period of time. Don't think I will every be catching up to some of you animals.
The locals lost to the Tourist in the pool tequila volleyball game this week...have to admit that the locals were not great sports about it , but it was a lot of fun to watch....
Back in the Chinos/Omar/Lalo days that had no chance of ever happening. I remember several times where the Guests had 12 players to their 6 and still got crushed. I also remember one game where we were spotted a 5-0 lead and still lost a gruelling game.
