We are still in the dark, but at least have the generator going at home... Hoping to have power back today or tomorrow...
we are in centrail jersey and very very bless.no power for 23 hours.minor roof damage.watching the news and it is very very sad.
Be safe we are about 50 miles outside AC and we were lucky as well. But for those at the Jersey Shore our prayers are with them.
No Power In North Jersey, we don't expect to get our power back for about 2 weeks. It is a bad, very bad. Just have to snuggle up with the wife!
Lost power for 8 days, and internet for 10 days. Two huge pine trees down in our back yard but luckily they didn't hit anything. We feel very lucky and blessed that all we lost was power and trees. Nothing compared to what others have lost.
2 power poles went down by us in Hicksville, Long Island. The tree trimmers were on our block earlier today and now a power line crew from Illinois is working it. They said that the linemen from the Long Island Power Authority don't have a clue. God bless all you Illini. Will be 10 days at 6pm today. The mayans may have been right, a tropical storm one week and a snow storm with below freezing temps the next...unreal. More people have lost power again today than have been brought back.
