Well said Jamie! There are plenty of noise cancelling headphones available for those who don't like the DJ's choice.
We think singles guys are ok even thought we had a bad experience march 2010 during spring break but in the same trip we met an even younger kid that was a complety gentleman. Not for one idiot all just get a finger pointed at. How ever i do agree with more security and 0 tolerance if they get to drunk send them to the room if they harras any females or try to start a fight kick them out and no refund and dont ever let them go back. Thats are out 2 cents.
We went to the quiet pool last May for the first time and it was actually nice to have a couple of hours of quiet time or conversation without shouting over the music. Not something we would do everyday but just another thought.
Excellent point! Even Ke$ha might sound okay if no one asks me to make 'em a sandwich during the song!:wink3:
The music! We really enjoy the early morning music at the sexy pool, have no idea what it's called but very soothing.. like the calm before the storm.Never been a big fan of the stuff they play at night although our last trip at patyo the entertainment and music was just awesome. We've had nights where there were tons of people dancing their asses off not really paying attention to the music playing but rather just catching the rhythm and having fun.And of course nights where ya wondered if they evacuated the place and did not tell ya!
I'm responsible for 3 of the single guys being there. The predominance of couples at Temptation was something I was prepared for but it made me hesitant to go there. Not anymore. We all had a great time and will likely return. I really have nothing bad to say about the resort or anyone I met. If you guys want to keep out the single males you'll have to stop being so nice to us.
I had a blast with you and your friends. Trip wouldn't have been the same. Tequila anyone? :icon_mrgreen:
If you have some of your best friends around you, who cares what the music is like? Nothing like friends to make a good party...night... after night... after night....after night.... :lotsofmichaelfs: Lynfa x
C,mon, here we are again with the singles debate but to charge single men more is discriminatory plain and simple, if that happens then they will charge single women more too, a single supplement is more than enough if you travel alone. Also may I say to whomever posted about putting a cap on the amount of single men....that is discriminatory too. Personally I would rather see more singles than couples bc I AM single. How would you feel if I suggested capping the couples? Be reasonable. It is too bad the lady poster felt it was not a good week for the over 40 crowd, I hope it was just the time of year and that this demographic still frequents TTR and when they do it would be nice to know what months the over 35s go. Re; music, that would drive me crazy to hear the same techno continuously. As one poster said, use the comment cards. I personally would have spoken up about it right away and make requests. TTR in Cabo had great music around the pool and soothing music at the beach beds.
I agree everybody welcome anytime, as long as you are there for some good serious fun. As far as the music we did speak up, even tried some large tipping, Got us a couple of songs, then back to techno. Not so bad if a song didn't seem to last so long, makes for a long time on the floor.
