well said...you are on Vacation!!!! make the best of everything...even if you don't love hearing the same songs over and over again, its better than hearing MOM, I need a ride, MOM, I need some $$$, MOM, when is dinner going to be ready?, MOM, MOM, MOM, MOM!!!! So yea, I will take repetitive songs, as long as I am on vacation!!
You are right, the music sucked, I gave the dj $20 to play some rock & roll we got four songs. The back to the same chit, house music. Then the one day the DJ was at the pool, I asked him to play something else, some rock, he told me that he does not take requests, then I guess he is in the wrong business. They dont not seem to cater to the fun crowd anymore.
You know I’m sure glad I’m easy going. I have no idea how any DJ would be able to please everyone from 21 to 80, such is the age span of TTR, or the musical interest from Bach to techno, such is the taste span of folks going to TTR, or play the favorite groups from 100 different countries, such is the diversity of the folks that go to TTR. So they pick the music of the place, time and vibe of the city they are in and everybody becomes a critic. Me, I just go and enjoy myself. To be honest, half the time I don’t even know what is playing in the background. That is until it starts to skip and we start the chant of RAFA! RAFA! I guess the only way to please everyone would be to supply then with personal headsets and IPODs. Me.. I’m with Joanie.. I’m on VACATION!!!!!! :huepfen021: Jamie
