just an fyi....for those interested.........

we already do an incredible get together each year of cancuncare people from the houston, dallas san antonio, other parts of texas as well as canada and pretty much all over north america - its in new orleans on the weekend of September 6-8 - very much cancuncare style fun -

in fact, the event was created by cancuncare people and cancuncare people are the directly and indirectly the whole reason this event exists.

two things:

it is the largest reunion of cancuncare people by a mile
it is one of the largest fundraising events for the make a wish foundation in the country

not to mention, steve, janet and cancuncare are also event sponsors.

we have 100 rooms blocked at the hotel monteleone in the quarter - its just 145 per night

if you want to join that is cool - WE WANT YOU TO - but please keep in mind of the 100 rooms that we have in our block - 60 have already been spoken for - so if you want to join be sure and book your room and your friends rooms VERY soon by calling the hotel at (504) 523 3341 just tell them you are wish the reunion or make a wish

- womens fashion show
- meet and greet with a band food dancing silent auction
- super heroes parade through the quarter - yes all dressed as suoper heroes - marching band - special beads - police escort the whole 9 yards
- super heroes pub crawl (pub crawl sponosrs include pat obriens, cats meow, beach on bourbon and many more)
- sunday jazz brunch at dickie brennans palace


yes its wild and crazy fun ---------truly over the top -------and we also raise about $50,000.00 for the make a wish foundation too

Hey Texas Party Peeps!! Off the subject here but Texas related!! ATXSNGL will be traveling with us and others to TTR July 20th-27th.....She has not booked but wants to very soon. The price is $1174 today a piece if double occupancy. If she goes solo the cost is over $1700....A lot of savings for each person if she could snag a roomie that wants to go at that time and leave from Austin. About half within an easy drive (less than 2 hours normal traffic from Houston) or just here already. Excellent! If y'all know other Houston-area people, point them at this thread so I can continue to make a potential invite list to informal, yet fun TTR-style events we're thinking about having.
