I've seen the term "Run of the House" at some of the Iberostar all-inclusive resorts. The ROH label can be found next to Standard Rooms as well as Junior Suites.

My travel agent seems a little lost as to exactly what this term means. Anyone know for sure?

    Thanks.

ROH=whatever is available. Without specifying any specific room, room type or room location.

Generally not the most desirable room. Lower floor, not facing the water, near elevators, etc. Cheaper rate for less desirable room. But unless you are in peak season, you should have some luck asking to see your room on a map, or see it before your luggage is taken up, then ask for higher floor, better view or whatever. Tip well when you get the room you like. If you don't end up in the good room, someone else will.

Different repsrtd are going to treat ROH just a bit different but what T.J. says is true.

In a ROH room you won't be anywhere near an ocean view and may very well overlook the parking lot or Kukulcan Blvd. Basically, there is no "view" whatsover.

Yeah most would consider that just the standard room.
