On behalf of all single men who go let me just say that I think those who can't control themselves and invade the personal space of others by taking unwelcomed pictures or acting creepily in general really should be set straight accordingly. However in all fairness the pendulum can swing both ways. Take for example some of the swinging couples. Now this doesn't bother me personally but some people do feel uncomfortable when in the presence of overt sexuality... Think of something like a couple of couples making out in Paty O's on the beds, I have met some people that feel uncomfortable with that going on. The ultimate point I have is that the staff at the resort have to craft the rules in such a manner as to try to satisfy everyone. Obviously you can't satisfy everyone. If someone is being a jerk and the staff don't catch it or doing anything about it then by all means respectfully ask them to smarten up or bring it to the attention of one of the staff. And just remember to extend those courtesies you would have given to you to the other guests and all will be well.
groups Cheers buddy, Well said for us single guys, I think a few spoil it for the many, I think people will be idiots no matter what, there has always been the arguements of spring breakers and age ruining it, single guys, cameras, I think ultimately it boils down to the individuals, wether they are young, old, married , single , swinger, swayer, photographer, perverts bottom line i think is that if your an idiot your going to be an idiot no matter what category you fit into, I get along with everybody and have partied with all types down there and a few bad eggs will ruin it for the bunch no matter what bunch you belong too lol....just my thoughts
I took a camera both times this year and never pulled it out once. I will just have to rely on my photographic memory which fails me after to much tequila
I have a great idea that probably won't be implemented... What if TTR made a rule saying that only the LADIES could take pictures around the pool and in Nice Shoes? Has there ever once been an instance of a woman taking inappropriate pictures? Plus, single guys, you can bring your camera to the pool, and just ask one of the 20 ladies you met that day to snap a picture of you with your friends, no matter how naked they might be! Everyone would be consenting, and you still get the memories... Again, probably just a dream, but I think this would solve a lot of problems...
This is such a tricky topic to comment on. As some of you may know I (les) had an altercation with a married guy who was filming our group from a distance of about 15 foot away. No being european we really don't care about people taking topless pics by the pool because it's second nature to us but I could see several of the women in our group were uncomfortable so I told him to stop. That said pictures taken amongst our group were quite wild. we took over 1100 pics but found we could only use 270 on facebook because the others were topless etc. No one except the people involved has seen those pics and never will but because they are such great memories for us we really wouldn't want camera's banned by the pool. We think people need to stop being gutless and stand up to those taking pictures they shouldn't be taking. With regards to nice shoes we think there should be a total ban on cameras like there used to be. Maybe the place wouldn't be so crap if they banned cameras and things could get as raunchy as they used to.
You are right Les, it is a tricky topic, that's why I started The Great Camera Debate. We may never get this resolved, but if these posts are read by many, especially 1st timers, hopefully photos will stay off the internet that don't belong. Scott
I didn't take my top off at all last year much to my hubby's dismay. He has already asked me to please reconsider this trip. I saw a man hand a female next to him a camera and she took pics of people they obviously did not know. We sat back on numerous times and watched as mostly men took pictures. I don't want to end up on FB or YouTube. I don't really want cameras banned because some of my favorite pictures are from around the Sexy Pool. The pictures are of consenting adults who want to be part of the picture and know they are being photographed. I DEFINATELY think cameras should be disallowed in Nice Shoes. I was disgusted last year when a man took pictures (with an offending flash) during the strip show. I mean, come on...how hick can you get.
had not really thought of the camera deal but after reading these the wife will be keeping her lovely boobs in her shirt Im sure. There should be NO CAMERAS allowed if you ask me. This is a private resort where there are things going on that maybe the whole world doesn't need to be aware of. Damm kinda just bummed me out how bad is that when a guy is sitting there taking pictures of a pair of boobs? Can you say "at TTR for the wrong reason"! Should be banned by the sexy pool and nice shoes
It only takes one to mess it up for everyone. We have never took a camera to TTR for the reason that everyone is there for the same reason to have some R and R and have a lot of adult fun.I hope it doesn't happen to us as I will ask the crew to attend to this matter or i will handle it my self and I am sure those camera want work good after they dig them out of the pool.
