    Hi All,

flying out to Cancun on Thursday :D This will be my 3rd trip. Can anyone tell me what the rough cost should be to get a Taxi from the Airport to The Great Parnassus hotel?

I know its not that far away, just don't want to get ripped off.

    Cheers

How many people and how much luggage?

A taxi (car) is $53 usd.

A shared ride in a van is $9 or $10 usd per person.

    Hi there,

Thanks for the reply. There will be 2 of us with 2 cases. How would I go about organising a shared ride? Guess I might not have enough time.

    Thanks again

I suggest that just as you leave the sliding doors from Customs, you stop at the authorized Taxi booth right outside and buy your shared ride.

    taxi cost

The shared van costs $12.00 per person. The number of bags do not matter. The cost of the taxi would be at least $45 for the 2 of you. The cost for a cab back to the airport is $20. The shared van is usually Gray Line or any other that the taxi booth will assign you to just before you exit to the street from the enclosed area. You pay at the booth and they will direct you to the proper shared van. The ride is about 15 minutes if they do not need to stop anywhere else.
