did your room have your door facing patio's or your balcony facing patios.. we thought having the door facing it might have been a bit better..

the door was facing paty-o's..open the door...down over one flight of stairs! SO didn't realize what we had signed up for when we took that room, it being our first time there! But we would actually request that room or along there when we go back again. The balcony was facing Margarita's/sports pool/beach.

Three out of the five times I've been to TTR, my room was on the ground floor, door opening out to Paty'os with patio facing Tex Mex restaurant. It was such a convenient location and I usually was up partying until late, so I didn't notice the loud music.

This year, we had a room on the ground floor on the other side of Paty'os with the door opening to the hall behind Paty'os where the cooks/servers for the little grill prepare and clean up. Late at night, or I should say in the wee hours of the morning, they are cleaning and banging metal trays and kegs right outside our door. We would be lulled to sleep with the music, but be jarred awake with the bang of kegs being smashed together.

The patio was great though...we could sit out there looking at the sexy pool...in fact it was quicker to run back to our room to use the washroom instead of the one by the pool.

Too bad for the noise at 4am!!!

Next year, we'll try to get a room in the next building along the beach or by the sexy pool.

We stayed in 5532 last October and 5522 this month. We like the view of the marina, volleyball court and palm trees.

    Best deluxe rooms?

We have a deluxe ocean view, are there ones better than others or at least ones you would want to request or get first?

Are the ones over looking the sexy pool nice?

    Thanks!

Think ours was 2214, step out of door, 5 steps down and in Paddy Os. Second floor and view was facing walkway leading to sexy pool with a slight view of of sexy pool itself. Ocean was visible as well in the distance. Very loud but earplugs made it a dream.

We were in room 2224 which was up 2 small flights of stairs off paty'o, it faced the road and the roof of the building which was a shit view (I didn't care anyways ) but the location was perfect, very close to paty'o and buffet, but on the outside facing wall which meant it was very quiet when the door closed.
