We love TTR but the decline over the last two years was causing us to lose interest. We went to Desire and fell in love with it just like we did the first time to TTR. So we are happy for the shutdown and new tower. I think we will fall in love with TTR all over again after the changes. If not, we will keep going to Desire.
I don't know what the future will bring, never did. I guess we'll just have to party like it's the last time.:ernaehrung005:artytime: :aktion047::lotsofmichaelfs::daveandmo: Like we always do!:icon_biggrin: George and Debbie
She,s just upset cause she hurt her foot . ( Love you Monique ) re , themes ,, no one forces any one to dress up , don't know what the problem is ? Participation this year was really low cause 2 groups had separates themes , was hard to say who,s who, also a few of the addicts avoided patios because of the takeover . She does have a point , the group that was there thought they were at Hedo , and continuously dis-respected the guards, splashing them at the pool and throwing ice cubes at the guards when they were trying to do there jobs.
im all for letting people do their own thing, but ya I am a little more conservative. but that's just me. I try to do a few of the themes but not all. why would anyone disrespect the security guards? they have a important job? I will be excited about checking the jplace out once its done. I have some really nice clothes that I have never worn there for fear of being out of place. looks like they will fit right in now!!
Sounds great if true but I remain skeptical that you can do an approximate 40 million dollar renovation with probably a year worth of lost revenue (opportunity cost) with a subsequent increase of only 10-15% per room. NPV valuations on a 40 million dollar project coupled with lost revenue added in as the opportunity cost necessitates a significantly higher revenue stream per room to make the project profitable. How many extra rooms are they adding in total? That being said, I am extremely happy with the changes if there is only a 10-15% change per room in price. The place will be significantly better at a very reasonable price point. I am just skeptical this is possible but I guess in Mexico anything can happen right?
That is probably a biased sample based upon some of the membership. I can promise the average household salary of the people that were at Temptation during all of my stays were significantly lower than 140K. The people who can pay for the membership costs probably have a higher income bracket on average, skewing the sample.
