My two week holiday here is £3500 . Next year for the same time i have been quoted £6900 by my agent..i do hope this wrong .
They are making so it,s cheaper to go on referral , then they try and sell you package because you have to go to meeting. You can play the game , just don't drink the cool aid , so you can make a sober decision . It,s only 90 minutes and can save you $$ , and you get some perks. Last they were giving out 6 Referrals with every new contract so there lots out there for free .
there is zero chance that price holds...remember no matter what they do with the building it's still on a less than mediocre beach in a non-prime location.......I am certain it will be way way less than that when it gets closer.
I am booked on a referral, 10/22-11/5. the referral was booked at 2800.00. Temptation now has bookings open for 2017 direct through resort. Their quote was 3700, so a difference of 900.00. Once the resort offers bookings through re-sellers the price should drop even more. I would ventrue to guess that the same time period through a re-seller would cost comparable to the referral and include air, as which has always been the case for us.
I'm hopeful on the first part, and agree on the second part. Only been to TTR once, but I'm not sure a lot of them night's is that big of a deal. Life at home is difficult enough, for vacation we take it very easy. Only pack enough that we can handle with carry-on only. I didn't find Patyo's the time we were there. Last week of Oct. to be all that sexually charged. There were definitely some skimpy outfits, but once the ladies are already wearing next to nothing there is no where else to go. At the GP, there was no themes, so getting the ladies tops off for body shots on the bar, or just flashing in general was quite entertaining. If they are already just wearing a "tassle" outfit there is no fore play, for lack of a better term. Just my take on it. That being said, I'm a big fan of lingerie, and then a simple red or white night. costumes are too much for us to mess with.
So you find GP more entertaining then the TTR theme nights ? without theme nights you end up with Hedo or a Couples style resort,, TTR is was it is because of the sexual atmosphere created by the people that participate in the voluntary theme nights . Would not be the same if every one was boring and wearing Kaki shorts and golf shirts
Not sure how Referrals work. And what we have quoted are in English pounds. Would be great for us if the price does not increase to much.
I look at this way I have spent lots more money on stupider things in life, so spending a little more on something that makes us happy and to be with people we love to be around, sounds like its a no brainer to me. We will book the new TTR after it opens up and finds it place in Cancun, more than likely some time in 2018 as it will take some time for the new TTR to sort it self out and find it's place again. As Arnold Schwarzenegger says 'I'll be back". T
I never mind paying for quality and service. If its a 15% to 20% increase for everything brand new and the atmosphere stays the same or is 15% to 20% better....count us in as repeat customers. It would be nice to watch a web cam of the construction process.
I couldn't agree more! HOWEVER Paying 8k for a membership and being assured your price is locked in with only a 4% increase MAXIMUM only to be sent a email with a 62% increase 6 weeks later is a problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
