That was our room last week!

I actually loved it, 1935-1938 will be our go to rooms in future. Only a short walk from Bash and no stairs suited my bad legs and restricted walking range. Probably one of the best Ocean Views and great views of the sexy pool too. We are usually not back to the room until after the music has stopped at Bash, so wouldn't be an issue for us.

We were only there two nights and were up early both days so we didn't notice if the music from the pool in the mornings was an issue. Thoughts?

Much preferred the location over the tower room we had on our first trip, although there were no elevators at the time.

Do these rooms have a king size bed or two beds, Steve? Dennis is a bed hog so I always have to ask for a king. I tell people if I go missing, I am stuck between the wall and the bed... lol:)

One kingsize. Don't know if it's still the same but the ground floor set of rooms in this block always had two doubles and everything else Kingsize. Although now the Ground Floor rooms are not going to have a very good view due to the ramp coming down from Bash.

So the entire block of rooms that was Building 3000 (pre-reno) are now the noisy rooms at night?

Pretty much, as they are the closest to Bash - at least on that side.

One thing I did notice is that the sliding doors are now much heavier duty than the old flimsy ones. This should help with soundproofing as well as adverse weather.

@Steve since you have now stayed in a Bash room and a renovated 3000 block room which is close to Bash did you find a difference in sound proofing? I was impressed with our Master thinking it had better sound proofing than the old rooms. Of course I was extra intoxicated this trip and stayed up rather late so not even sure if I tried to sleep while music was still going for sure

Like you, I'm not the best person to have noted. The sliding doors were the same in both rooms, much heavier than pre-reno. I particularly noticed the sliding doors as they are exactly the same as we have had put in the recent house we built. Our building manager recommended them for both sound proofing and hurricane resistance.

In the Tower room, I don't recall hearing any noise from the pool in the mornings with the door shut. We always left the room before the music at Bash got cranked up and returned after it had finished so not sure if the room was well sound proofed from Bash.

In the 1900 block, we only stayed 2 nights and were up early both days before the music started at the pool, so not sure on that front. Again both nights we didn't go back to the room until after the music had stopped. I do recall going out on the balcony about 3:30am and although the music had stopped there was still a lot of chatter and laughing coming from Bash that was audible from the balcony but you couldn't hear it inside the room with the door shut.

We too usually leave room before it starts and return after it stops.
I should have written my previous posts a little differently.
Last year a couple we were with got very ill and the man was bedridden for 3 days/2 nights....bummer. But wife and us took care of him the best we could checking in frequently. I cannot imagine being so sick as to have to stay in bed resting with the music noise from Bash, pool, etc.
Hence collecting info as a potential contingency plan....you never know about coming down with something.
We typically try to kill off the germs by ingesting massive guantities of alcohol starting the week before our trip. Hey that means starting tomorrow as lead in to Baylor tailgate. It will do the trick as we need to numb ourselves before the OU beating begins anyway! Probably will start tonight ahead if schedule!

When I go to TTR I'm not going there to stay in bed all day. I can do that at home...... and often do :)
