September 12 room crawl update: I wanted to update this thread to let everyone know the status of our room crawl. Thus far, we have the following commitments for hosting: 1. Dave and Alison - aka Running man. 2. Smiths - S and D 3. T and L 1019 4. Slidindirty ( got to love that handle) Attendees who have not committed to hosting are: 1. DM1898 2. Romi40s 3. Cancunfor4us We have a total of 14 committed at this time and please let me know if the “none hosts” want to host as it was not particularly clear from the comments. Hosting couples should be prepared to provide “shots” and plan a sexy fun game ( games can be mild to wild). Room decorations are always welcome but not essential as packing and preparing can be too much work for a vacation. The key element to a room crawl is meeting new people, having fun and making memories that will bring back a smile when reminiscing in the old folks home many years later. We are looking for a few more people so don’t let this opportunity pass you by. From the comments posted it looks like we are going to have a great time.
Stacey and Darin are our names lol can’t wait to meet in persons was gonna suggest we meet in lobby day before or day of to confirm and map out route. I think we will get another host but have to confirm. Add Summer and Mickey to crawl and possible hosts. Thanks Dave and Ali for keeping us on track.
Basically someone organizes one and gets 5-7 couples to agree to open their room, have a game (like dirty jenga) and a shot/drink of some sort (some people do gummy bears soaked in alcohol, etc.). Everyone meets at a designated location and then they all head off to the first room. Drink, play 1-2 rounds of whatever game that couple brought and then 15-20 minutes later they head off to the next room. By the end of the room crawl you have made a bunch of new friends.
