    At TTR now.
Was quoted $200/night additional from garden room price today to upgrade.
    They came down to $140.
    Still said no.
I was feeling more like $50.
    Crickets,
And hotel is only about 60% occupancy!
    Plain greed.

Upgrade to the tower? Glad to hear the hotel is at 60%, it was at 35% earlier this week.

Will be there tomorrow about 2pm, not doing the cruise as have a Dr appointment at 11am and then have to drop Jannet and the kids at the airport at 1:30pm.

See you at the Premier Bar.

Thats crazy what they're thinking these rooms are worth. When we booked our 10 nights trip with Expedia the extra cost from garden view to the bash tower was $250 total for the 10 nights, not per night.
I agree with you it's plain greed.

Personally, going from garden to Tower isn't worth $140 extra a night but to some, it may be.

Yikes. That is extreme. It is like they are throwing money out the window. I don’t even think it is a $200 difference if booking in advance.

Be happy it is tower snob and not master or penthouse snob. I made my own bed and now I must sleep in it :(

    Yes...crazy and makes no sense!
You would think that they would take something vs. nothing since hotel not full.
    Can always debate occupancy percentage.
I think they always over report for hype.
The place is so big now and folks spread out so much it is hard to tell.
    Restaurants seem fairly empty.
My guess is 40-50% but it is truly a qualitative estimate.
We will just stuff 25-30 into our garden room for the room crawl!
