After reading some of the posts about the top floor i contacted them and changed my request for 2nd Floor by the quiet pool , request probably in the Waste bin by now.:sauer024:
We always fill out the express check in on line and ask for a ground floor room near patty o. I know a lot of folks say they are bad rooms and noisy, but our experience there not that bad. We are at the bar till 3 on average every night anyway and having the bathroom close by is a plus. Never a third floor room again, Had that once and NEVER AGAIN! Jeff
We normally make a request when we send in the reservation...and they accommodate us as best as they can.
That room is good, but we are partial to our regular room with the pulsating lazyboy and mechanical bull, instead of the 'F' chair.
How considerate... however, trust me, rooms with opposite beloconies are the major of the watchers crew, lol , so doesn't matter on which floor you are staying on
Room allocation Actually I am dealing with resa at the moment. Don't aks but I have 2 bookings 17-28 then 29-5, so wanted to ensure the 2 bookings were linked (so room change in the middle of the stay) + wanted my usual room. Laura advised me that rooms are allocated 2 weeks prior to arrival. My 1st stay I was on top floor of block 4... Never again... high heels + drinks + uneven stone/rock paths, now I always gt my ground floor room. They are also quieter as no noise echoing in the staircase / landings... But hey, luckily everyboday has different taste/priority so most of us get the room of our choice :bunny:
