Wild1s You nailed it and you are correct, we have had a lot of the same deals with the new home, the new car and even the new resort. Like I said I'm not bashing the new resort or the staff or the food and I think that I also said never say never as far as going back. We have made so many friends there and still travel with a lot of them. I never posted a trip report because I didn't want to sound like I was trying to bash the resort as they were still trying to reopen and do the best with what they were given to make their customers happy. You are so correct when you implied ( you can't look back) and sometime that is hard to do. I also agree Jamie that there was a lot of the same games that repeated themselves but it was fun to me watching the new people play as I did when we first started attending TTR. Yes there is always going to be that one guy that thinks its ok to have his way with our wife while we go to the restroom, but we pretty much knew that guy and someone in our group kept an eye on him while we were gone. Please understand I am not trying to change any ones mind about going for the experience of being somewhat free on vacation. Yes I know you have to have rules to go by those rules or your going to have trouble and no one wants or needs that. Maybe it was time for us to move on and find our new home that is smaller and couples only and be as free as you want. I want to thank everyone for their input and thought and you have my up most respect!!!
You can come and go as you please You pay the $20 you are good for the day. The food is worth 20.00 The array of alcohol is a bonus. mostly higher quality brands great atmosphere to sit and try different shooters/ shots and or brands. 10 different tequilas 8 different bourbons. They will do flights of those....a few people did on the days we were up there
Members need to have some kind of perks.....the resort is definitely catering to "non-members" right now in the hopes of having them pay their way into the "family". If you tend to spend alot of time at the quiet pool you should give it a try.....you would enjoy it
We spend our days at the sexy pool till they close it down. I get it that members need some perks but the roof top is not members only. If it was members only like the old hot tub was that would make sense. I guess it just boils down to is it worth the extra cost for us to go up there. Maybe yes maybe not but probably will have to pass.
We have not been back to TTR since the renovation but I would have to say that if it's half the fun it was before then its still better then any resort we have ever been to.
