Have you checked out Herman Cain? He's a pretty bright guy with a lot of charisma and a pretty good track record. See what you think of him. I've just scratched the surface on him, but it sounds good so far.

Just read his bio and he is quite an impressive guy. I think a businessman instead of a lawyer and/or lifetime politician is exactly what this country needs.

I voted for him (as a write in) last go round.

Since then he's made me think I was mistaken.

Over the past view months he's made comments that lead me to question his judgement.

He'd have a better chance if he ran as an actual Libertarian instead of a Republican.. Having said that, I think he'd make a great president... Having said THAT, I'm sure the majority disagrees with me.

Right now I don't see anyone on the Republican side that looks like they could win in 2012. Romney is the most centrist, but for some reason he just doesn't seem to catch on. Rick Perry is wildly popular in Texas, but most people are put off by his Bible thumping, and I don't see him as being electable. Michelle Bachman is another one that is too far out there with her ideas and her husband is a major piece of baggage. Ron Paul's ideas sound great, but in practice they won't work. So who does that leave us with? Not many choices that are palatable to the electorate. Hmmm, I wonder what Ross Perot is up to these days?
