A romantic 6some or 8some in the cigar bar after the dinner on the beach is the perfect romantic nightcap!!
How much is the private yacht rental and what do you get included in the price? Any lunch/dinner/drinks etc? Sorry to jump on your thread Frankels - Just need to know! Lol :aktion069:
Wishing our stay wasn't so short, some of these off resort destinations and restaurants look nice and fun to go to! Hopefully there is next time!
I think it's 350, I know it included liquor. Can't remember if it included food! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ok, so you like the beach dinner in the cabana and now you like this too, which is wonderful.....I think you should do both!!! One at the beginning of your trip and one at the end to "cap it off".....From a women's perspective I'D LOVE it if my hubby did that!! Just saying.....:wink3::wink3::wink3:
Here is what you need to do: 1. take a TAXI not a bus to this off resort destination. 2. Make a dinner reservation at Puerto Madero 3. Go to dinner at Puerto Madero, have them do the table side Caser Salad, then let her order whatever she wants on the menu and order a nice bottle of wine. 4. Also make late reservations at the Italian. 5. After dinner at Puerto Madero, have them call you a cab, go back to TTR and then go to the Italian and have Mayan (sexy) coffee and desert 6. Then go to your room, where you had the forethought to have candles purchased and set up, light same and then have a very nice evening. You can if needed, have a stroll on the beach and obtain cocktails at the bikini bar prior to going to room.
Romantic night was a huge success. We met Brooke and Jessie, who happened to be celebrating 13th anniversary like us, and invited them to come with us. We rented the Jeep from Avis and headed to Akumal. We got pulled over by the Federalis, I think mostly for being tourists. After coughing up a $100 for what should have been a $20 seatbelt ticket,we finally arrived. We weren't going to argue with two people who had automatic weapons. The beach in Akumal is a public beach and a little bit nicer than TTR, we paid $10 ea for mask, fin, and snorkel rental. Which by the way if you go, bring your own if you have it, theirs were cheap walmart stuff and made snorkeling a little difficult. We saw several turtles, fish and some brain coral. There is a bar on the beach where drinks were about $6 each. Don't expect to make friends as you are not at TTR and you will get some strange looks from the locals. We headed back to Playa del Carmen to Alux, pronounced ah-luge, by the way. This place was phenomenal! The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was very romantic. Email them your reservation request and ask for a private table. Also you must try the cucumber drink. The food was very tasty too! We still made it back to the resort for the party that night. Thans lindquist83 for joining us, we had a great time!
Don't forget about the awesome cave shots we had before we left. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
