Rock the Vote: Alisa for Miss Temptation July 2011

Anyone that has been involved in this contest will tell you that it's more stressful than you can know. It's fun that day. The reality sinks in and it's 20 days of campaigning. With full time job, 2 kids etc. its quite overwhelming. No one can anticipate the level of anxiety that comes with it.

 

Support here, support there....whateverrrr...it's obvious that Laura got home and is not interested in the comp....

But you 2 have a rediculous amount of votesssssssssss.....holy crap...I have seen both your numbers groowwwwww.......regardless of who "wins", remember, some believe its rigged..if you ever want to be a politician, you gotten your crash course in winning votessss

 

I just visualized a cat fight....between two of males posters not btw the women....

 

BTW...if my wife were to everrrr compete and say win...I dont think I can put in sooo much work to get those numbers up so high.....I just looked at those numbers one last time....they are way up there...

Can you imagine reaching one thousand votes each...

 

Lol. It is nuts. Constantly on the web, FB, twitter. Anything but the church bulletin. For me it's been fun trying to squeeze out more votes lol.

Jeff, I understand what you mean by the stress of the competition. I too have a full time job and I'm a single mom. The work put into fb, twitter and the other forums has really consumed my time as well. Alissa is lucky to her husband support her the way you do. This is however, supposed to be a fun thing. I think we should get back to why we all meet up here on Cancun care, we have one thing in common...we love Cancun and we love TTR. I truly do believe that Alissa is a beautiful woman and that we both belong in this competition.

 

Actually I have to congratulate both contestants, and their families, for keeping the competition above board and clean. I personally did what Jeff is doing last year for a friend of mine to be able to go back in January. Actually if you look at the hoops you have to go through now to vote it’s probably due to that month. I personally generated about 700 votes from one computer. Had to reset the IP in between each vote and come up with a new email account for each vote. Yeah, hours were spent. And it gets crazy as the days go on.

I think the voting process is a lot better at keeping invalid votes out in the first place. Yeah, you can start up 100 new email accounts, send in requests for codes from each of them and then pop the IP addresses to vary that. But in the end, especially with this many votes, TTR is going to review them and if they see a pattern that looks like cheating those votes will be dropped.

So bottom line, vote for your favorites, don’t penalize either lady for rabid fans, I don’t think either is leading a cheating attempt on their own, but they don’t control their rabid fans.

Good luck ladies and we’ll toast both next time we’re at Diego’s. Heading back in January or not, they are both winners for having such great friends to generate close to 1,000 votes each.
