We are there from April 7th through th 11th. I have not attempted to look for another fourm other than here. I am sure it is a nice resort and will be fun no matter what.
We stayed at the Riu Palace Peninsula in July 2014. It's a family resort. There is an adults only swim-up bar & a 3 story villa that's adults only. We stayed in room 307 which was a spacious oceanfront room with a jacuzzi on the patio & a panoramic view of the ocean, pool & lagoon. The buffet food was very good. The buffet had a theme each night (in addition to the usual stuff) which included Thursday lobster night. Yeah, real good, full sized lobster at no additional cost. We had a photo shoot by one of the lady photographers which turned out great. We made plenty of friends & created our own party. Not the party at night like TTR, but TTR is in a league of their own!
