Havnt posted for ages - but feel that I need to put down that this news is terrible. He was a lovely guy and I am glad to say that I met him. I will always remember his beer drinking competitions and how much fun I had with him and Tracey He will be sadly missed
We met Bob in 04 on our 1st trip to Blue Bay,we will remember him as a great guy,funny,easy to talk to and be around.Our deepest sympathies to his entire family. Roy and sandy

Robert ‘Cheezesteak’ S. Olsen, 35, Penncrest High grad; state constable Robert “Cheezesteak” S. Olsen, 35, of Prospect Park, a sales manager and former corrections officer, died Nov. 18 at Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park. Born at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, Mr. Olsen was a graduate of Penncrest High School in Middletown. Mr. Olsen was a general sales manager for the Ford Motor Co. He was previously a corrections officer at Delaware County prison in Concord. A Pennsylvania state constable, Mr. Olsen was a member of Lodge 578 of the Free & Accepted Masons and Prospect Park Fire Co. He was a former member of Lenni Heights Fire Co. and Lima Fire Co. in Middletown. Mr. Olsen was awarded a mayor’s citation from the city of Baltimore for saving a woman’s life. Survivors: Wife of six years, Tracy Olsen; brother, Bill Carpenter. Service: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Marple. Visitation: 9:15 a.m. Monday at church. Burial: Private.
