We did the same thing and wondered if this is legit. They don't seem to communicate very well. I was calling the resort trying to pay the remainder of our balance when I found out. Finally got the real confirmation number and called the resort to validate. We will be there Friday, so I hope there are no issues!
So I read through all the comments, has anyone emailed Resort confirming the reservations? I too thought I was booking directly but it was with RTC. We are 40 days out from trip and just wanting to confirm before arranging the shuttle service. TIA.
RCT is legitimate. We had no issues upon check-in and even have booked with them again, albeit for a takeover this time.
I haven’t used Right Connections Travel myself, but I’ve heard of people having good experiences with smaller agencies like that. Just make sure to double-check your itinerary and keep all your confirmation emails handy, especially for flights and accommodations. For my last trip to Europe, I actually stumbled upon a great deal on Business Class Flights to Europe, and it made a huge difference. I’d never flown business class before, but the extra comfort and space were a game-changer, especially for an overnight flight. It felt like part of the vacation started early!
