Greetings all...i am coming back to Cancun after having two great springbreaks in 05 and 06. I stayed at the El pueblito in 05 and the Oasis cancun in 06...i want to know if there is anywhere anyone could recommend a great lively spring break hotel that is neither of the two i mentioned.

    Thanks

i know what you are saying about going back to the Oasis but i just fancy a change...barcelo costa and ME @ Melia (or whatever it's called) are the two that stand out at the moment.

Welcome to the boards... If you want party hotels, then check out The Flamingo, Dos Playas, Salvia Condos, Carisa Y Palma, etc...

If you want nicer places, Grand Oasis, RIU, Omni, etc...

I agree with Dennis, the Tucancun is a nice option

wow.. Barcelo Costa and ME are quite different...

the Costa is indeed a spring break hotel. ME is fairly upscale with no all-inclusive. Not a spring break hotel, but certainly a change from the Oasis.

I didn't realise that the ME wasn't all-inclusive. You may have saved my holiday there! Not had much time to investigate the other places that were mentioned but i appreciate the feedback
