This one wasn't my doing, so I can't tell you for sure, but my best guess is because they no longer have anything to do with SB.

Mods have been told to keep the specific forums on topic and move the non-related threads to the proper forums.

Also, when threads get hijacked and a new topic is started, we are to split the topics up.

As mods, whether we move topics or split topics, we are suppose to leave a short explanation why. If Steve is the one doing it, it's his board, he can do whatever he wants
