Is this correct a big portion of party leaving Bash at midnight, that was always prime time in Pato's. Is this being widely experienced ???
To be clear...most of those people were not there to party....they were just watching. The party was going until about 2.
None of the restaurants are GREAT, but they are adequate. The service is good, but they push people through too fast. Loved our trip there and will be going back...but not for the food. We visited Romania and sutra multiple times. She was fun initially but then got a little boring, and the food was too rich ... lot of stomach issues from people who went there. Sea flirt had a decent menu, but freaking way too cold ... I had to go back to the room to get a jacket for K...so we didn’t eat there again and didn’t enjoy it. The Mexican restaurant was OK. The sky bar is the best part f the hotel and is the only part of the hotel that feels 5star, this includes the food. We wish the same vibe would extend throughout the hotel. We went to the flame only once. Decent food but the atmosphere sucked. It is the buffet area converted over. When we went it was empty and we got seated in a long booth row. Well ... about half way through our meal the staff seated a drunk guy right beside me...never saw him before or after...even a couple seats away would have been ok....the restaurant was freaking empty! More than normal amount of people getting sick on the food at the resort. ... when compare to other mexican resorts we have been to. The buffet and room service are OK. Luckily the resort is all about fun ...letting loose... and that is why we will go back.
[QUOTE="Joe&Heidi, To be clear...most of those people were not there to party....they were just watching. The party was going until about 2. That's a BIG concern for us at the moment.... of the 6 of us that checked in in June, 4 had never been before and never participated in theme nights and were off at midnights along with quite a few others........ not party people or had even checked the hotel they were going....... On the restaurant front, our favourite is Sea Flirt for breakfast sitting on the terrace and the Italian (apart from the ridiculous lighting, which results in the waiter bring a torch to read the menu !!) ... Asian good too but have to wear long pants... even your pajama's !!
All dinner restaurants, with the exception of the buffet, require long pants for men. Dumbest rule ever...
We are planning our first trip to Temptations. We would often bring a few nice bottles of wine with us to Hedo to drink at dinner at the sit down restaurants and it was never a problem (we found the resort offerings overpriced and the house red meh). Do you think it would be ok for us to bring our own wine to dinner at Temptations?
