Dress shorts and a collared shirt aren't the '' main''issue ,, its the open sandles/board shorts and tank tops and t- shirts. using the ''nobody knows you line ''doesn't really apply .. the resorts has a few rules,, ie ,, no public sex, no nakedness ect,, and minimum dress code for the restaurants. Problem is the resort randomly enforces its own rules , thereby leading to the confusion as to what is allowed. speaking of rules , are cameras now banned at the Sexy pool ?? I see they have changed the rule on there website.
Like I said I cannot resist a good debate:banghead:---my main point was that I don't care if someone wears a plastic bag to dinner. I am at dinner with my spouse and/or our friends for that meal and that is the person/people that I care about. What you or your group want to wear that is of no consequence to me. Now the resort randomly enforcing the rules is another point and I can see where that could cause conflict---but as a rule following slacks wearing son of a gun than you wouldn't be caught up in not being allowed entry--whereas my lawlessness of wearing shorts might be refused entry. Whether the resort enforces a dress code or not shouldn't bother the slacks crowd as they are professing that the Desire to wear slacks is more about honoring the effort that the spouse put into looking good for them rather than the resorts "rules" Again "nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit" does apply here in my opinion, and if we all worried about the people that gave a shit about us and less about the people that don't this wouldn't be an issue. Lets go down to the sexy pool and take some pictures of us in slacks and shorts and post them all over the internet and than we can laugh at people that expect to see our spouses boobs when they see you and I in dinner attire! :aktion069:
Donald would rather glare at some guy in board shorts and a tank top than stare lovingly into Bonnie's eyes. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm sure he'll set me straight You know I'm only kidding right? I can honestly say that what another person wears has not effected the taste of my food or the joy in the company I keep in the least. What someone else cares to wear on the vacation they paid for doesn't bother me.
Resort life has slacked in the wearing of shorts for men clearly because of the heat, and the resort isn't going to bother with offending a guest when the shorts are clean, neat and to the mid thigh or knee. That's not in their best interest to place that specific of a restriction in a resort in a hot climate. I think the debate here is that nobody wants to see either a man or a woman in clothes just off the beach. My ex and I did 20 all inclusives before we separated 7 years ago, and I couldn't have cared less if the guy was in nice shorts or slacks. What was unacceptable is standing in line at a food station next to a guy in a sweated in t-shirt with big hairy armpits and he's reaching to the back of the buffet for some food! the lady on the far left
